thanks! I saw just the edge of his tail from the living-room and traipsed out in the snow to check it out, knowing only that whatever it was, it didn't belong there. When I discovered it was a squirrel, poor thing, trying to warm his/er bones.
neat thing is, we haven't had squirrels for about twenty years, so this was a wonderful surprise.
Says to me that our cats are getting senile. Finally. The little murderers… (kidding, mostly)
